Put your album cover in a music video.

Place your artwork over an audio-reactive visual, let it pulse with the bass, and show the artist and title. BeatFractal renders it to MP4 for YouTube, Shorts, Reels or Spotify Canvas, and your image never leaves your device.

Add your cover

No AI-generated visuals: every effect is a hand-crafted preset made by the MilkDrop community over the last 20+ years.

What the Overlay can do

Open Overlay… in the studio. Everything you set shows live as the song plays.

Your cover, moving

  1. Open the song

The track the cover belongs to: MP3, WAV, FLAC or M4A.

  2. Add the artwork

In Overlay…, turn on Album art, press Choose image… and set the pulse.

  3. Render any shape

Widescreen for YouTube, vertical for Shorts and Reels, or a Canvas loop.

Questions

Is my artwork uploaded?
No. The image is kept in your browser’s own storage and drawn into the video on your device.
Can I use the cover on a Spotify Canvas?
Yes. The overlay goes into every render, including the 8-second vertical Canvas loop and Shorts.
Can I change it later?
Yes. The overlay is saved with the queue: reopen Overlay… and adjust it before the next render.
Will there be a watermark next to my cover?
Free renders add a small BeatFractal.com mark in a corner. Single Video and Pro renders have none.
